Smells Like Teen Spirit is part of our Nostalgia Colorway collection, where we take quilts you already love and recolor them in palettes that feel like a very specific decade. This one is moody, a little loud, and entirely unapologetic. The solid fabrics from Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids keep the birds crisp, so the pattern does the talking.

The Sparrows pattern by Pen + Paper Patterns is built from simple pieced shapes. Each bird sits in its own block and faces a different direction, so the finished quilt has movement without a lot of fuss. The quilt finishes at 65 1/2" x 71", which works as a throw, a lap quilt, or a very ambitious wall hanging.

We cut no corners on the fabric. You get Art Gallery Pure Solids in the fun Smells Like Teen Spirit palette for the quilt top, a Botanic Jewel print for the binding, and the printed paper pattern. Backing is not included.
